This wine comes from a red variety of excellence in Manchuela, ‘La Bobal’. La Bobal stands out due to its high level of acidity, which makes it perfect for making rosé wines. The fruit is harvested manually in the middle of with the aim of preserving the properties of the grape and avoid the must getting oxidised. Once the grape is received, the must is left to macerate with the skin left in for some hours, which leaves us with a must of a pale, rosy colour.
Given the age of the vineyard, we get a wine with a great concentration of strawberry and raspberry flavours with a lollipop base, which come together elegantly in the mouth, in a fresh and pleasant way.
Cup-shaped vine training: this is the most common kind of pruning and the one that has been traditionally most used.
The trunk grows without any support at a low height, allowing three or four branches to form.
The easiest way to imagine this form is to take your hand and stretch your fingers upwards without them touching.
